The Mak'Tar is a mature (17+) online gaming community that has been involved in a variety of games over the years (which can be seen above). Our group was founded in April of 2012 by Fleet Admiral Nierion, Fleet Admiral Tu'Lok, Admiral James, Admiral Jewkesman and Commander Susik. The Mak'Tar goal is to create a family fun experience for all members and to celebrate the meaning of what a family is. Inspired by the movie Galaxy Quest, the Mak'Tar continue to grow each day and regardless of what challenges they face there is always one saying that rings true......
The Mak'Tar are a humanoid species that originate from the planet Tev'Meck located in the Warvan system, not far from the Orion System. Mak'Tarians were always peaceful and had very little contact with other species in early times, especially due to being in a very remote part of space that was also well hidden by the magnetic fields in surrounding nebulae.
As time went on and the Mak'Tar advanced in technological research, they reached out to the National Space Exploration Administration to form an alliance and gain knowledge from their new friends on Earth. Shortly after this alliance was formed a hostile race known as Meechans launched an attack on Tev'Meck, successfully defeating the Mak'Tarian people and destroying their planet.
The Meechans gained the advantage by modifying their ships to navigate through one of the nearby nebulae undetected. The surprise attack gave them enough time to disable communication arrays, thus stopping the Mak'Tarians from contacting the NSEA for support.
The only known survivor at the time was Dr. Lazarus who in time assumed a position on the NSEA Protector with his close friend Commander Quincy Taggert. Years later, it appears that Lazarus was not the only survivor and has since then reunited with fellow Mak'Tarian survivors.

Dr. Lazarus spent many years continuing to help build the Mak'Tar back to it's former glory. Now the Mak'Tar is an official branch of the National Space Exploration Administration and to this day we still train all our members in the ancient techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation over thousands of years.
